Intensive Clinical Services

Our Intensive Clinical Services (ICS) Department focuses on clients of all ages with increased needs or supports in various environments. Members of the ICS team have extended expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis related to severe physical aggression or self-injurious behavior, co-existent mental health and other dual diagnoses, sexualized behaviors, substance abuse, and other high or at-risk behaviors. We use a trauma-informed care approach focusing on the ACT therapy model along with other evidence-based treatments.

In addition to direct treatment, our ICS Department provides consultation services to support teams through transitions and periods of increased maladaptive behaviors when major life events or other changes may trigger severe behaviors. We conduct individualized assessments to determine service needs or identify risk in the community, and we develop training and tools to teach team members how to best support a client and their needs.
