Adolescent Social Skills
An evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated adolescents (ages 13 - 17) who are interested in learning ways to make and keep friends. Learners are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in session. Learners can bring a parent or another trusted adult who will learn how to assist the adolescent by providing feedback through coaching during weekly socialization homework assignments. In addition to weekly sessions, learners receive pre- and post-assessments. This program is based on the popular PEERS for young adults curriculum.
